Garrick Taylor and Bliss Edwards managed to find their happily-ever-after despite a rather . . . ahem . . . complicated start. By comparison, meeting the parents should be an absolute breeze, right?

But from the moment the pair lands in London, new snags just keep cropping up: a disapproving mother-in-law-to-be, more than one (mostly) minor mishap, and the realization that perhaps they aren't quite as ready for their future as they thought.

As it turns out, the only thing harder than finding love is keeping it.

Okay. I totally completely absolutely loved this novella, in case you didn't know already. It was awesome seeing what Garrick and Bliss are up to after Losing It. I love that this novella is told in dual POV, alternating between Bliss and Garrick, because I get to be in both of their heads. Oh, and one of the best things about Keeping Her? It's set in London! I just visited London last month, so I got really excited when Garrick and Bliss went to the London Eye, the Globe, and (best part) platform nine and three-quarters at King's Cross Station! I spent ages there, too, just like Bliss. Plus, we get to meet a couple of Garrick's British buddies, and their camaraderie was so fun to read about.

Another awesome little tidbit - the Harry Potter references in this novella are totally awesome! Check out what Bliss says when she sees Garrick's mom calling -

When I saw her name on the caller ID, it was like seeing the Dark Mark hovering above my apartment.

I totally love Cora for putting in awesome stuff like that. Anyway, Keeping Her follows Garrick and Bliss as they go visit Garrick's parents in London. Bliss is terrified, since she's heard about how scary Garrick's mom is, but her sweet as hell fiancé does everything he can to placate her. Of course, his friends Rowland and Graham don't help at all. But they're hilarious, so I love them. Bliss starts to feel insecure (surprise surprise) when she sees Garrick's mansion of a house, and things get complicated between the two of them when Garrick is offered a job in London.

I liked Bliss more in this one than in Losing It, because she doesn't annoy me anymore and she's definitely more confident. Plus, I like her feistiness! Bliss knows how to have fun and let loose, and she's one of the most entertaining protagonists I've read about. She does some hilarious things in this novella and I was just like omg, classic Bliss!

Ah, Garrick. Seriously, the amount of times he says 'marry me' in this novella had me pretty much swooning all over the place. I missed his British accent and slang! And he's so freaking cute in this. There's this awesome scene while they're in the airplane where he pops the question to Bliss again, and the whole cabin bursts into applause. That had me laughing on my chair so hard! Also, he says all these really sweet things and I just about melted.

She was my everything – the lungs that allowed me to breathe, the heart that had to beat, the eyes that let me see. She’d become a part of me, and all that was left was a piece of paper to tell the world we were as inseparable as I already felt we were.

Come on, how freaking romantic are those lines up there? Keeping Her made me love Garrick even more. The fact that he's willing to do anything to stay with Bliss, and to make her feel at home. I love how supportive he is of her, and how he always puts her first. We need more Garricks in this world!

I wish this was a full-length book instead of a novella, because I really needed more after I finished it. And reading a sneak peek of Finding It at the end of the novella just made me so much more impatient for it to come out. Thank goodness there isn't too much of a wait. Anyway, this was an amazing and sweet and steamy read, and fans of Losing It will eat this one right up!
